HOW IT WORKS

CALCULATE
We created a simple to use loan calculator that allows you to input the loan amount, interest rate, and term of the loan. The program then calculates from the inputs your payment and how much the loan loan will cost you in interest throughout the life of the loan. This will allow you to make more educated decisions about your finances,

SAVE
We realized that in life, when you are going to take out a loan, most people will compare different options. (or at least they should). We created the SAVE LOAN capability so the user may be able to save and label different loan calculations.

DECIDE
The AFFORDABILITY module is made to help you ask yourself the questions needed to make the decision to take a loan. By auto analyzing your current situation you will have a better perspective on future decisions.
MEET THE DEVELOPER
MY STORY
My name is Moises Corkidi. A couple of months ago I decided I wanted to learn to code iOS apps. I got into an online course at Udemy and bought an online course. I actually went through with it and this is the first app I have created on my own. My academic background is in the field of music and economics, so I look forward to creating more apps that relate to either subjects.
THE VISION
LOAN COMPUTER represents the first of a suite of apps that are finance and economics related. LOAN COMPUTER started of as an experiment to prove my skills to myself, but it is slowly becoming something that is evolving to a whole new level. Stay tuned for future updates and new apps.
TECHNOLOGY
LOAN COMPUTER is a completely native iOS app. All the loan calculations are down within the code. We are using Realm to persist data as in the saved loans. With this app we also implemented for the first time the use of banner ads. I know they can be somewhat annoying. Another skill used for this app was Object Oriented Programming and MVC pattern.
